Surviving Cancer

So you or someone you know has survived cancer, but now what? Here are a few things to encourage wellbeing for life after cancer.

1. Create a vital life! Set the intention for the day, I AM _____ {fulfilled}, The most important factor to ensuring you continue to take action on your wellness journey is one simple action --- ENERGY. Make a commitment to take care of your mind, body, and spirit at the deepest level.

2. Find people who will help to hold you accountable with your wellness goals (e.g., a support group, a therapist, a wellbeing coach). Talk about your wellness, manifest it! Pursue knowledge from those who have experienced and model wellness afters surviving cancer as well as learning on your own. One thing to consider, when it comes to the information, at the most fundamental level DOES IT MAKE SENSE and is it simple to follow?!

3. Create a morning spiritual practice: Meditate, Try yoga, meditation, and gratitude: One of the sources of disease is having a destructive mindset and negative thoughts. By practicing gratitude, meditation, or yoga you're intentionally allocating time to give your cells what it needs which is oxygen! Oxygen is the source of energy in the body, this energy in turn drives the metabolic processes in the body (e.g., elimination of waste, respiration, circulation, and digestion).
